I am an educator with the Vancouver Board of Education (VSB):

• Teacher

• English Language Learner Specialist

• Case Manager

My formal educational background is from The University of British Columbia:

•          Masters Degree in Education (Leadership and Administration)

•          Bachelor of Education Degree (Problem Based Learning)

•          Bachelor of Arts Degree (History)

 

I have served on a number of significant boards:

• BC Teachers’ Pension Plan - Trustee

            (with assets over 34 billion dollars)

• Community Savings Credit Union - Board of Directors

            (with assets totaling over 800 million dollars)

• Vancouver Elementary School Teachers Association – Secretary-Treasurer

            (one of the largest teachers’ organizations in British Columbia)

 

Community Involvement:

• Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 26  (Annual Poppy Campaign)

• Coquitlam Animal Shelter  (Contributor)
